The Apartments The condominiums have a spacious living area with a colour television, telephone and an adjoining patio or balcony. Each unit is self-contained with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room and lockup garage. All the rooms are air-conditioned and have a ceiling fan. There is the option of two double beds (King and Queen beds) or a Queen and Twin bedroom. Location The resort takes its name from the adjoining nature reserve of the Centenary Lakes and offers an extensive natural experience right in Cairns. Walk through this parkland and you'll reach the Flecker Botanic Gardens and the rainforest walks through the Mount Whitfield Range Environmental Park which overlooks the City of Cairns. Located 3 kms from Downtown Cairns and the airport The Lakes is an ideal place to stay due to the convenience. Facilities To compliment the relaxed tropical atmosphere, the resort feature a large swimming pool, with their own beach, outdoor BBQ settings, pretty lakes and, for the more active, a health centre, tennis courts and a host of interesting guided walks.
