Exit Plantation House through the front pool terrace, walk across a leafy grass area, through beach front palms and you will find yourself on the famous Four Mile beach. Clean white sands and clear blue waters stretch as far as the eye can see in both directions.

A pleasant walk going north on the beach will take you towards the centre of Port Douglas, although a car will take you there in a matter of minutes.
