Dining The Dining Saloon is designed to accommodate all passengers at a single sitting. Breakfast & luncheons are buffet with `free seating'. Dinner is a la carte with a different menu every night and assigned seating. Diving Diving is available for holders of current Open Water Dive Certificates, which must be produced onboard. There is a nominal fee per dive, fully inclusive of onboard equipment. Details available on application.
Accommodation All 75 cabins are situated on the outside, with private bathroom ensuite, on/off air conditioning, telephone, hair dryer, soaps, shampoo and towels, serviced daily. Each cabin is approximately 150sq.ft. Top Deck Staterooms (21): Located on A Deck, all open onto the outside deck, with generous picture windows for panoramic views from the Top Deck. Four (4) have double beds and seventeen (17) have comfortable twin beds, convertible to double beds. Staterooms (41): Located on B and C Decks, all open onto the outside deck, with generous picture windows. Ten (10) have double beds and thirty one (31) have comfortable twin beds, convertible to a double bed. Cabins (13): Located on D Deck, all open onto an inside passageway, with generous portholes that let the natural light flow in. Cooktown ~ Captain Cook sought refuge here to repair his ship during his epic voyage of discovery. The town itself was later carved out of the Cape York wilderness during the gold rush. Today Cooktown is a living museum of pioneer Australia.
Two Isles ~ Imagine an island so tiny you can circumnavigate its shell strewn beach in less than an hour. Two isles is your own uninhabited coral cay where the only sounds are the local bird life and the waves on the coral reef
Lizard Island ~ A blue lagoon yachties dream about long white sandy beaches. Lizard Island is the jewel of the reef. For those who know the beauty of sunrise at sea, an early morning climb to the island peak is rewarded with panoramic views. Snorkel over coral gardens only metres from the beach. Hand feed fish from the glass bottom boat - then slip away for a romantic stroll along a balmy bay. The Pacific Island Night will complete a perfect day in paradise.
Ribbon Reef No.5 ~ Ribbon Reef No.5 is one of the Marine Park's most spectacular and remote destinations lying on the edge on the continental shelf. It's a true `barrier' reef and home to a profusion of unbelievable sea creatures. For arm-chair coral viewing, join the Marine Naturalist on the glass bottom boat. Hedley Reef ~ Saturday A full day to snorkel, dive and explore the wonders of the sea. Hedley Reef was produced over thousands of years by billions of tiny coral polyps. Explore a kaleidoscope of formations including staghorn, brain, boulder and fan corals. Join the Marine Naturalist on the glass bottom boat and discover vibrantly coloured sea creatures. Or simply luxuriate on board and enjoy the delights of shipboard life.
Hinchinbrook Channel ~ Sunday It's hard to imagine a lovelier cruising channel than Hinchinbrook. The narrow passage that separates Australia's largest island national park from the mainland, teems with life. Green canopies, mangrove lagoons and long curving beaches provide refuge for native birds, dolphins, gentle dugongs and migrating whales.
Dunk Island ~ Sunday Exotic Dunk Island is a tropical paradise and a beachcomber's delight. Walk pathways tunnelled through rainforest to find vivid native flowers and rainbow coloured birds, or enjoy the convivial hospitality at the island resort.
