Calypso Reef Cruises, Port Douglas, offers family cruises, reef tours, and dive trips to the Great Barrier Reef for snorkeling and scuba diving. Our reef trip is suitable for all ages and provides a unique reef experience for all guests. Departing daily from the Marina Mirage, Port Douglas, our experienced crew will take you to the World Heritage Great Barrier Reef Marine Park in our fast, stable and comfortable vessels - Calypso and Pure Dive. Visiting three breathtaking sites daily, the stylishly modern and custom designed catamaran ‘Calypso’ has set a new benchmark for Outer Great Barrier Reef cruises. Family owned and run, Calypso is designed to hold 125 guests however only travels with approximately 65 to ensure maximum comfort and a personalised experience for all. Calypso caters for non-swimmers, first time snorkellers, introductory divers and dive enthusiasts. Space and comfort has been created and utilized on every part of these magnificent vessels. The nine metre wide back deck provides plenty of room, comfort and ease as you enter the water to partake in marine activities. Calypso has an exclusive top deck with sunlounges and large, spacious upper and lower foredecks have also been designed with comfortable day bed seating to maximise outdoor relaxation. Learn about the marine life and eco-systems through our reef interpretive chat on board or take part in a guided snorkelling tour and surround yourself by the rainbow of brilliantly coloured fish and coral. Calypso is advanced eco certified and committed to the protection of the Great Barrier Reef.
