pink flamingo is a small, privately owned, independent, freehold, adults retreat in Port Douglas. Our guests enjoy a unique sensory blend of recycled architecture, vibrant colours, private spaces, extensive tropical gardens and friendly personalised service.
The Garden Villas
Escorted through lush tropical gardens at the quiet end of the resort your will find one of our 10 luxurious Garden Vuites. Beyond the handcrafted timber gates lies your own private domain.
A hammock and outdoor bathtub invite you to relax amongst the tropical foliage that envelops your private courtyard. Bath salts, fresh flowers, candles and incense help set the scene.
The spacious air-conditioned interior welcomes you with its vibrant decor. The king size bed is big enough to roll for days in any direction. A cushion piled daybed, TV, DVD & CD player make relaxation an art form.
Austar, ISD/STD phone and modem point keep you in contact with the outside world. An ensuite bathroom and well equipped kitchen with coffee plunger and all you need for holiday cooking completes the picture.
The Garden Studios
Our snug garden studios have secluded outdoor seating areas under waterproof sails and they are located at the front of the resort. Each studio has a vibrant, intimate decor and ensuite bathroom. A small galley style kitchen is equipped with microwave, bar fridge, kettle, toaster and coffee plunger. TV, DVD and CD player, air conditioner and ceiling fans are also provided.

The Pool:
It`s huge, it`s heated (when needed), surrounded by award winning gardens and swaying coconut palms with plenty of lawn and deck chairs for the sunworshippers to stretch out on.
The Bar:
Make yourself at home. Our Honour Bar has ice cold soft drinks, water and juices and plenty of fridge space for the more serious mixers. We also offer a selected wine list from boutique Australian and New Zealand wineries at a very compatible price. (these can also be pre-ordered for your arrival !)
The BBQ:
Invite all you new friends to dinner by the pool ! Pots of fresh herbs grow nearby for your gourmet creations. Small portable grill available if you prefer barbequing in the privacy of your own courtyard.
The Gym:
Outdoors with: Exercise bike and weights.
Bicycle Hire:
All big hills have been removed for easy riding around Port Douglas and Four Mile Beach.
The Games Room:
Table tennis, dart board, books, mags and board games.
Outdoor movie nights:
on request and weather permitting ! Relax under the stars, poolside and watch the big screen.

Have us arrange a masseuse for you in the privacy of your own massage cabana. Alternatively, we can arrange a treatment at one of Port`s luxurious nearby spas. Hair and beauty treatments also available onsite.
